How can I get in touch?

If you've already placed an order with us and want to get in touch about that specific order, you can also simply reply to your order confirmation email. This is the thing to do if you've entered the wrong shipping address, or forgot to add a gift note! We'll respond as quickly as we can to help you out.

 

Do you include price information on your packing slips? My order is a gift - I want the price to be kept private! 

Don't worry, we never include the price on any of the packages that we ship out!

 

Can I order multiple boxes and ship to separate addresses within the same order or do I need to do each box as its own separate order? 

If you have 2-3 boxes to order, it is best to order them one by one through the site, but if you have a bunch we're here to make it easy! The best way to do this is to create a document or spreadsheet with each recipient's name, shipping address, gift note, and the box you want to send them. Then, email us at hello@washingtonlocalbox.com and we'll get you in our shipping queue and organized in one easy step.

 

Can I have one of my logo travel mugs / pint glasses / business card / brochure / handwritten note placed inside a box?

Definitely! We love to help you add a personal touch to your boxes, and there is no fee for making this happen. Email us at hello@washingtonlocalbox.com to get details on how this works.

 

I just placed my order and forgot to include a gift note!! Is it too late? 

Reply to your order confirmation email and let us know that you meant to include a note, and if it hasn't shipped yet we'll make sure it is included. 

 

How fast is shipping?

We ship out new orders within 1-2 business days, and we send all packages via UPS Ground so they'll reach their final destination 1-5 days from their ship date. Expedited service is also available as an option during checkout. We offer the ability to select your desired ship date if you'd like to schedule shipping for the future. All packages ship from our central warehouse in Longmont, Colorado. If you are ever up against a tight timeline just drop us an email and we will do everything we can to get your gift shipped out FAST! hello@washingtonlocalbox.com 

 

My package hasn't arrived yet! What can I do? 

Delivery dates are not guaranteed. We guarantee that we will mail your gift to the address you provide to us, on the date you've selected during checkout (or within 1-2 business days if you do not select any date). We mail via UPS Ground, which means your gift will arrive 1-5 days after we put it in the mail, depending on the destination zip code. You will receive an automated email with your tracking information when we create the mailing label, so you can track your gifts' progress to its final destination. Once the package is in transit, we are no longer in control of it. Occasionally UPS experiences delays, especially around major holidays.  We are not responsible for these delays.

 

Where are you based?

We live and work in lovely old town Longmont, Colorado. We launched Washington Local as a sister company to our original shop, Colorado Crafted in the summer of 2022. We do not have a retail storefront; our gift collections are only available online. 

 

What happens to returned packages?

If the address provided to us is invalid or inaccurate, UPS will return the package to our warehouse. We make every effort to validate all addresses we mail to, however the customer bears the responsibility of providing a correct shipping address. Packages typically take anywhere from one week to one month or more to be returned to our warehouse. Due to the perishable and fragile nature of our gifts, we are not able to resend packages, and instead will extend a coupon to you if you'd like to try to resend (perhaps to an updated address, etc). 

 

I am a small business based in Washington and I think my products would be a good fit for Washington Local! Whom do I contact?

We would love to hear from you whether you are an artisan or know of a cool product that we should check out. This is one of our favorite ways to find out about new products! Email us at hello@washingtonlocalbox.com with the company name, website, and product photos.

 

I am hosting a big event (corporate gathering, board meeting, etc) and I'd like to give Washington Local boxes as a gift. Is this possible? 

Yes, it is! We can help you design a box as small or large as your event requires. Head over to our Business Gifting page to learn more and submit an inquiry. A real person will get back to you within a few hours to learn more about your project and help come up with ideas to support your event!

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we offer international shipping via USPS Priority Mail. Shipping charges will be automatically calculated for you during checkout based on the package destination and weight.

 

Do you sell empty boxes, so I can fill them myself?

No, we do not do this. However, we do sell our Washington Tote Bags individually! Find them here.

 

How big are your gift boxes? 

We have a gift box  (9" x 11" x 4"), and our Market Tote Bag (18" x 13" x 6"). 

 

What is your privacy policy?

We never share your name, email, or contact information with anyone - ever! If you sign up for our newsletter, you can opt out at any time. When you place an order, you have the option of whether or not to sign up for our newsletter - but you certainly don't have to.
